Privacy Policy — TechArmor Client Portal

Effective date: September 25, 2026
Operator: TechArmor Solutions LLC, Gainesville, Georgia (“TechArmor,” “we,” “us”)

This Privacy Policy explains how the TechArmor Client Portal (the “App”) collects, uses, and protects information. That includes data we get through its connection to Intuit QuickBooks Online.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, company name, role, and login details for the App.

Project information: files, messages, approvals, and other content you or TechArmor add to the App.

QuickBooks Online data: when an authorized user connects a QuickBooks Online company, the App accesses only the data it needs to create and track invoices. This can include:

  • customer names and contact details;
  • invoices, line items, and products or services;
  • payment status;
  • the QuickBooks company ID.

Technical information: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps. We use these for security and troubleshooting.

OAuth tokens: the access and refresh tokens Intuit issues. The App uses them to stay connected to QuickBooks Online.

2. How we use information

We use this information only to operate the App and serve TechArmor's clients. That means we use it to:

  • create, send, and track invoices;
  • keep client records in sync between the App and QuickBooks Online;
  • manage projects and approvals;
  • provide support and keep the App secure.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information or QuickBooks data. We do not use it for advertising.

3. How we share information

We share information only in these cases:

  • Service providers that host or run the App for us, such as cloud hosting and database providers. They must protect the data and may use it only to provide their services.
  • Intuit. Data is exchanged with Intuit through the QuickBooks Online API as part of the connection you authorize.
  • Legal requirements. We share data when the law requires it, or when we need to protect our rights or safety.

4. Data security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information:

  • all data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS);
  • stored OAuth tokens are encrypted;
  • access is limited by user role, so clients see only their own records;
  • only authorized TechArmor personnel can use the systems.

No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data retention

We keep information while your account or the QuickBooks connection is active. After that, we keep it only as long as we need it for business, accounting, tax, or legal purposes. When someone disconnects QuickBooks Online, the App deletes the stored OAuth tokens and stops accessing QuickBooks data. Records of invoices already created may remain in the App for bookkeeping.

6. Your choices

  • You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To do so, email us at the address below.
  • You can revoke the App's access to QuickBooks Online at any time. Use the disconnect option in the App, or remove the App under Apps in your Intuit account settings.

7. Children

The App is a business tool. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date.
